As always, you are welcome here!
That is our greeting at each worship service and it is a value we cherish as we nurture old relationships and invite new ones. As the Elders (Spiritual Council), our task is to nurture faith formation and spiritual growth through all the program and committee work within the life of the congregation. It is a privilege to have this responsibility.
If you are visiting our website, out of curiosity or in search of a new spiritual home, we invite you to come see how a healthy congregation in transition handles its continued call to ministry. There are wonderful folk who have a keen sense of ‘living in the Spirit’ of being ‘alive in Christ’ and our site will give you a sense of the activities and plans moving forward.
Of course, the best way to gain a ‘feel’ for Forks Church, is to show up and worship with us. Our ideal location off Rt.33 & 191 just south of Stockertown on Sullivan Trail, makes dropping in really convenient. As worship begins, our welcome is to all of us who gather, understanding it is God who summons us and God’s Spirit who leads visitors and old hands alike, to come worship our Savior.
